A talking moose is the star of MoveOn.org's new TV ad, which will run in Iowa today and Friday in Des Moines and Sioux City, where Palin is scheduled to hold rallies. The ad ran yesterday in Cincinnati, Cleveland and Dayton, where Palin was campaigning in Ohio.

Late today, the Obama campaign released a new ad hitting McCain for his opposition to equal pay. The spot, titled "Need Education," was narrated by Lilly Ledbetter, the Alabama woman whose Supreme Court case led to 2007 fair pay legislation.

Catholics United today unveiled a new ad campaign asking why Senator John McCain has voted against health care and effective assistance to pregnant women, children, and families -- and for the war in Iraq. The ad will run on cable television in heavily Catholic areas of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. "It's not enough to say you're pro-life," the narrator says. "Actions speak louder than words." Planned Parenthood defends Barack Obama's record on sex education after a nasty John McCain ad suggesting the Democrat supports teaching kindergartners about sex. In an ad, they say that Obama was helping children protect themselves from sex offenders, while McCain seemingly doesn't care.

At the end, the ad features no less than three pictures of McCain and President Bush together, with the lyrics "If I could be just like you ... what a wonderful world it would be." Entitled "Out of Touch," it bemoans McCain's "country club economics" and features a video clip of the Arizonan tooling around in a golf cart with former President George H.W. Bush, presumably while unaware of the number of houses he and his wife own:

The Obama campaign unveiled a new TV ad today that will run during the Olympics. Titled "Three Bedroom Ranch," it pushes a positive economic message much like the Olympic buy the Obama camp has been running up to this point. This one, unlike the last, puts emphasis on reorganizing tax-policy priorities (lowering middle class taxes, ending tax breaks for corporations taking jobs oversees) as opposed to energy:
