And here is where I have to disagree with my liberal brethren. Just a few years ago I had to listen to members of the Right Wing say how they wouldn't go to Barbra Streisand concerts because she supported Kerry. They talked about not buying this album or that album. I even heard one mention that he was destroying all his Dixie Chicks CDs even though he had always been a huge fan.
For heaven sakes folks, I thought we "liberals" were smarter than that. I thought we had the capability of telling the difference between talent and politics. Just because Sonny Bono was a Republican Congressman doesn't mean I can't appreciate the tunesmith part of him that wrote "Needles and Pins" for the Searchers. Let's not fall into the same trap those morons on the other side have fallen into. Let's use a little more common sense.
I forgot to mention the backlash Linda Ronstadt received from the right after her Michael Moore comment in Las Vegas. We must refuse to bring ourselves down to their level.
I went out and bought the CD "Taking the Long Way" and now it is one of my favorite CDs. I bought another one last week, and I will keep buying them until I have all of them.
But Robert, I only said it changes my view of Manning - I didn't say I would no longer root for the Colts. Heavens, they are an Indiana team. I have never been to a football game, so it isn't like I am going to boycott them because of Manning's support of Thompson.
Besides I don't think Thompson will last long. He is about a phony as they come.

I used to like the guy, but now, I hope his linemen get fat, slow, and lazy, if ya know what I mean.

Robert, that works in reverse as well! I never cared for the Dixie Chicks before, and no I enjoy their music. ;)
