While Bush fiddles. . .

An advisory system we can truly use:

Maybe he can put Ted Stevens in charge of this:

We have a sign for you as well, Mr.Bush (Get Engvall on the phone):

Ya know i dont like Bush much either but how is he at fault for this?

Did he park those heavy stone trucks on that end that fell ?

Did he direct all the traffic to one side of the bridge?

Was he the one that was using the jackhammer?

Oh no wait! wasnt he the one dropping acidic birdshit on the rivets?

GEEZ,would it not be easier to just vote him out of office instead of tearing him a new asshole everyday?

Seems to me that Minnesota didn't do a SAFTEY check on their bridges,YA THINK?

BLOGGER Mike McIntee of "Inside Minnesota Politics" noted that repairs on the bridge had been delayed from 2006 to 2007:

A MN DOT document from March 2006 indicated that the bridge was scheduled for repairs in 2006, but it was removed from the schedule because it would be more efficient to do the work in 2007. One of the questions that needs to be answered is if budget constraints were the cause of delaying the repairs.

I think it kinda funny that MINNESOTA is holding the Minneapolis – St. Paul Republican National Convention there in the summer of '08. HMMMM...... SO MUCH FEDERAL AID SO FAST! IMAGINE THAT!

Dan,

I think the point most people will make is that this country is sorely lacking infrastructure monies because the VAST majority of our funds are being wasted away in Iraq. And after Bush dwindled away our resources, he started borrowing from China. So now, money that could be used for additional infrastructure financing has to be used to keep up the payments to the Chinese - who keep making crap for Wal-Mart and all the Wal-Martians continue to spend their money buying Chinese crap and the owners and stock-holders of Wal-Mart are making huge donations to the right wing. It's a vicious cycle and those of us who don't agree with the policies are left to ponder the fact that our children and our children's grandchildren will probably be paying for Bush's little war for many, many years to come.

Sad really.

Peanut brain Carter really didnt do too well or (im not a crook) Nixon as far as that matters. As far WallyWorld , I remember when Walmart boasted their ALL AMERICAN products made and distributed here in the good 'ol USA.

Dan - Time's change. Robert's assessment is pretty accurate. As far as Mr.Carter goes, how many ex-presidents have accomplished so much for the world after leaving office. Seriously, dude, wiki the man - you'll be amazed.

Nixon WAS a crook. And most of this current gang of crooks worked with him back then. But he was very good at foreign relations. . .

W will be dead, via a pretzel or his own vomit before he gets anywhere near that age! ;)
