2. - The REAL reason he was "bravely walking the streets at ground zero" was because his command center was IN ground zero!
3. - Communication between emergency personnel was effectively shut down on 9/11 as it was located in Rudy's choice of locale: GROUND ZERO!

No kidding. Oh PLEASE nominate him. I'm sure seeing Girlfriend Rudy dressed in drag is just gonna make their day, too.
His steadfast leadership consisted of getting his face all over the idiot box as much as possible. But what amazes me is the fact that there is any Republicunt support for him. A cross-dressing gun control pro choice adulterer. Yes, PLEASE nominate him.
I think the only reason Rudi is leading the GOP polls right now is because the Republicans don't quite know where to look. They're disillusioned with McCain, they know Romney is unelectable and they're not sure they even want Newt on the ballot at all. This leaves them to toy with Rudi's affections while they search down a more dependable candidate. Of course, if they can't find one by the time the primaries roll around, they'll be stuck with Rudi.
The sad part is they honestly believe they have a shot of winning with Rudi - and they do, if Hillary is the Demo nominee. Anyone else but Hillary and Rudi goes down the tubes.
Think of it - all Rudy has going for him is his photo ops. Once those are shot down, he's gone. I can't imagine the Repubs selecting him, but they are impossible to predict.
