Foo Fighters to McCain - You're not Our Hero

Oops! Turns out that John McCain STILL hasn't learned his lesson about music plagiarism. In my fourth installment on this topic we learn that the Foo Fighters, through news reports, discovered that the McCain campaign has been using "My Hero" without their permission and fired off a missive insisting that they cease usage of the song immediately.

Dave Grohl said, "The saddest thing about this is that `My Hero' was written as a celebration of the common man and his extraordinary potential. To have it appropriated without our knowledge and used in a manner that perverts the original sentiment of the lyric just tarnishes the song."
