Obama Sweeps Potomac Primaries
Huge turnout noted in all three contests:
Barack Obama lengthened his string of wins today by capturing the trifecta of Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Exit polling indicated that the African-American turnout in Virginia and Maryland was nearly the same as in 2004. Obama garnered the support of 67% of men overall, and 60% of women, a piece of the electorate that Hillary had maintained the lead with until today's contests. In another setback for Clinton, she and Obama divided the white vote almost evenly, with Clinton leading among white women but Obama getting more than half the votes of white men, the early figures showed. She had long held a clear advantage among white voters.

So does Indiana have a primary or something? I think I've heard about every state but Indiana the past few months. I want to get out and vote for Obama!
Parson - In May; normally FAR too late to matter, but possibly relevant this time around.Maybe. Kinda sorta. . .=)
It will be interesting how corporate Hillary spins this.
Oh that's right, smaller states don't count.
I'm thinking about going over to Ohio the end of the month to lend a hand. Any takers?
Angie - I'm tempted. . .
