Snow Day

Well. . .we finally got snow. Although it doesn't look all that bad in these pics, Allen County is under a Level-II snow emergency, meaning no travel other'n emergency and to and from work.

Looking Out My Back Door (doot doot doot)

It's supposed to continue through this afternoon with another 2-3 inches expected.

The Front View

I guess I'd better go fire up the snowblower. . .

How'd the snow blower thing work out for ya? Me? It was blowing out formed chunks of ice. I wound up doing a lot of it by hand.

Gee, I always thought a snow blower was an Eskimo prostitute.

Looks pretty from here. We had an early family Christmas get together and had to drive over 200 mi. round trip. So glad it was all bluster and not blizzard for us.
Peace.

I loved the snow this weekend. We only got about 7 inches by us but when it was coming down it was so beautiful.

I loved that video! I have a chocolate lab that LOVES the snow. She also has this thing about attacking the snow shovel when you are trying to clear the sidewalks. She's been doing that since she was a puppy and the handle is full of teeth marks.

Stan - Like a charm! Me and the neighbor started clearing the street before the plow took over for us!
