The Great Obama Hoax
CNN report debunking Obama muslim hoax:
Just minutes after Barack Obama announced he was running for president, an ignorant right-wing caller phoned C-Span and said that America should not elect Obama because he is a Muslim. One problem with that logic: he's not Muslim, he's Christian. The C-Span moderator set the caller straight.
So remind me again, what is the advantage of believing made-up information from Fox News? Late last month, the Fox Network had furthered the myth that Obama was a Muslim and attended a Madrasa -- which later was proved false:

I do remember when this "broke" earlier this year. CNN got it correct that time.

We have to remember that, since truth can do nothing to benefit the GOP, lies is all they have left to work with.

I vote for character and qualifications.
I knew the whole thing was a hoax when it showed up in an e-mail urging me to forward it to everyone in my address book. Still, I verified w/ Snopes just to be certain.
Human - This all started with an e-mail from my MIL; I just wanted to set her straight, but I think she's sore at me over it.
Tomcat - Fortunately enough, people seem to be losing the scales from their eyes in ever growing numbers.
