Peters concedes mayoral race
(Rubbing hands together, Montgomery G. Burns style) Exxxxxxcellllent. . .
Nelson Peters has conceded to Matt Kelty in the primary battle for the Republican nomination for Fort Wayne mayor. Widely considered the favorite when he announced plans to run for Fort Wayne's highest elected office, Peters will now continue his duties as an Allen County Commissioner. Kelty, a local architecht, has never held public office before, however he did narrowly miss defeating Democrat Win Moses in a bid for state representative several years ago. Kelty will face Democrat Tom Henry in the November general election.
Congratulations to our new mayor, Tom Henry!

Hope? HOPE?!! Did we HOPE it would be all right when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!??? HELL NO!! We must take action now and from this day forward to insure that this architect of destruction never reaches the ninth floor of the CC building!
GO TOM GO!
GO TOM GO!!!
Wishing you guys much luck John.
Uh, Good Man, I don't think it was the Germans who bombed Pearl Harbor. I could be wrong, been so many, many times before, however...

Excellent Belushi reference, John.
I am on board 100% for Tom Henry.
I've been wondering, if Kelty is such a great architect, why is he running for mayor?
Old Fort - Thanks for dropping by, man. I've had you guys linked for some time now.
Parson - It's because he ran out of things to paint purple. (Hint: ask Botts the next time ya see him)
