I found this over on Torpor Indy today. In Torp's own words it "lists many atrocities in which the US government and people have been involved. This is a 3 minute video and is not for the faint of heart."
I deemed it to be a powerful message, and wish to share it with you, that you may,in turn, do the same:

OMG, I STILL get so pissed when I see the Katrina images. And I DO NOT BELIEVE we have been given an accurate count of the dead. Somebody in the know knows, but we don't. It's gonna take somebody to Freedom of Information Act them to get us some answers.
That's a heart wrenching video, dare I ask what it is you think you'll accomplish by "spreading it around?"
90% of the people that see that video will agree awful things have happened and that same 90% probably never had a damn thing to do with any of the featured atrocities, so what is your point? Just a chance for you and all your left leaning readers to share a little liberal angst and guilt? To reaffirm your universal belief that you live in an awful awful nation? To reassure one another that you are the moral hierarchy and the rest of the nation is either to cold, or to stupid, or to evil to know better or do better?

Let me assure you, Tim, that we DO in fact live in an awful nation filled to the brim with idiots and run by incompetent morons. I'm not sure that can be conveyed strongly enough with a moving music video, but hey, it couldn't hurt, huh?

Sorry, tim... You are the hypocrite if you do not fight for your country to maintain its supposed values. If you feel apathy is the way to secure your nations future then by all means feel free to follow like a sheep, but please do not discourage those attempting to make a difference. You sound foolish and extremely naive when you spout the party line or the line of least resistance. You need to show proof that what these fine people are posting about across the net is indeed hypocritical. You seem to believe that your line about taking advantage of what this country has to offer (freedom of speech, etc) is proof that their use of freedom should be in line with what you say those freedoms should be. You sound like a president we all know and loathe...
