Final DCCC-NRCC debate tomorrow

On Sunday Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chairman Rahm Emanuel will appear on NBC's Meet the Press to engage in his final debate with Tom Reynolds, the embattled Chairman of our Republican counterpart, the National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC). The last two years have been a brutal battle between the two parties and an inspirational effort on behalf of all Democrats, both in Washington, D.C. and in the grassroots all across the country.

The debate will be on NBC Sunday morning, you can find your local time and station by clicking below:

This lead paragraph from a recent Associated Press story provided a good window into who has the momentum in these final days...

"Rep. Thomas Reynolds, a field general for national Republicans, finds himself stuck in the trenches of his own re-election campaign as Election Day nears and his Democratic counterpart zips around the country working to knock down Reynolds' GOP majority." -- Associated Press, 11/2/06

It is too bad Dems and Reps spend all of this time and energy fighting each other rather then fixing the problems this nation faces...

Mike, just out of curiosity, what have the Libertarians done to fix the problems this nation faces? I'm just asking. Seems like you're spending an awful lot of time attacking the Republicans and the Democrats as well. Isn't that a bit like the pot calling the kettle black?

I realize your answer will be that you haven't been in a position to do anything since you haven't been in power, but still, don't attack the attackers, this behavior should be beneath you.

Mike - We can't fix any of the problems facing our country right now; we are the minority party AND we have no subpoena power. Sit back and watch us when we get our shot at fixing the mess these asshats have made of our country.

I do understand your point and agree with you somewhat Robert...

Libertarians are not in power and cannot do much; but, we are trying...

I try to point out the bad things the Dems and Reps are doing in hopes of waking poeple up...

I do not feel either Dems or Reps are the answer...

John:

I am hoping the Dems take The House. If they do I expect big things... If I do not see them I will be very upset...

Plus how is it go for this country for Reps and Dems to spend 2.6 buillion dollars attacking each other and often times distorting the truth?

I am very curious!

Have you seen some of the despicable ads both sides are running?

Please send me links to disgusting ads Libertarians are running... I have yet to see any...
