Differences

Shamelessly stolen from the Third District Indiana Democrats website!

"The difference between the Republican Party and the Democratic Party is that everyone is welcome in the Democratic Party.

Because Democrats don't care if you are black, white, brown, or a nice shade of green.

We don't care if you pray in a church, a synagogue, a temple, a mosque, or just before a math tests.

We don't care if you are young, old, or don't want to tell your age.

We don't care what gender you are or what gender you want to hold hands with, as long as you want to hold hands!

We don't care about the size of your bank account, just the size of your heart; and we don't care where you are today, just where you dream you want to be tomorrow."

So come and join us, we think you will like the company.

Fabulous!

Let us hope that the nation sees and hears the wisdom in this. The GOP is the party of elitist separations. The "Decider" is only a great divider of America, and it is time we again claimed our place in the sun as the United States!

Sounds more like you substituted the words "democratic party" for "church of scientology".....I must admit though, after reading that I do feel warm and fuzzy all over.

kumbayah my lord...... kumbayah.....

It is terribly unfortunate that the radio/tv pundits have spread so many lies about the Democrats that even intelligent folks truly believe that Democrats will, if elected, outlaw Christianity, tax churches (even those that do NOT electioneer from the pulpit), force abortions on unwilling women and allow Al Queda to have offices on downtown Main St. Rural America.

My dad, an intelligent, 83 yr old guy - actually believes this tommyrot.

And doesn't understand how the republicans are turning his country into a theocratic dictatorship.

*weeps*

Oh, btw, John!

I drove through your state twice in the last 2 weekends. The road construction was vastly improved!

But every 3rd car on the road seemed to look exactly like the one in your header picture... and I kept thinking "LOOK!!! There goes John!!!"

*grin*

Gary & Kvatch - The GOP likes to talk about their "big tent". We Dems actually have one. . .

Tim - Are you moldy?

Sew - Make hi listen to Air America for awhile. He'll come around. And I'm actually a black caddy kinda guy. =)

AZ - You're always welcome to join in without joining up; we're all inclusive.
