Well at least it's just a strainer drain....not a dispoal.
Peace
Who KNOWS what lies underneath that thing. . .the shadow?
hehe As soon as I saw "Who Knows" I thought of the Shadow.
Peace
I'd certainly install a dispose-all.
They could certaintly could use one after the feds left everything to rot, decay, and mold over for the last almost a year now.
Heh. . it's just a bunch of po' black folks, right?
And since when was it was the feds job to clean it up? Copy and paste me from the constitution, if you don't mind....
As far as I can figure, it's the Fed's job to fix the damn dams...and that's about it.
How many billions worth of fraud in FEMA-issued relief so far?
Turn on the "In-Sinkerator" and backfill the whole damn city with topsoil.
Under your own admitted scenario, the feds failed miserably (Yer doin' a great job, Brownie!). Warnings about the levies, not dams (for clarification), were issued FAR in advance. Yet nothing was done about the situation. No plan, no repairs, no advice, no assistance, NO!
Most likely scenario: "Let's drown out the poor black areas of orleans and rebuild in a manner that will benefit us financially. Why, all of them black folks are taking up prime real estate that we could be capitalizing on! WE know what's best for our wallets, err. . I mean Orleans!"
