Good News for South Floridians!

You're all experts on Cuba, Castro, and world affairs in general! At least you are if you follow the logic of Cindy McCain:

Cindy McCain said Sunday that Republican vice presidential pick Sarah Palin Caribou Barbie understands what's at stake in national security issues in part because she is governor of Alaska, located some 300 miles from Russia.

Asked about Palin's credentials, Cindy McCain told ABC-TV's "This Week:" "The experience that she comes from is with what she's done in the government. And also, remember: Alaska is the closest part of our continent to Russia. So, it's not as if she doesn't understand what's at stake here."

I'm from Michigan. One time when out on the boat in Lake Erie we went a bit too far and were in Canadian waters. I must be foreign policy expert following that logic. It's too bad Canadians didn't pick us up, then I could run on my P.O.W. experience.
