Dirty Disney

Unlike most rumors of risque words images hidden in Disney’s animated films, this one is clearly true, and the images in question were undeniably purposely inserted into the movie. Approximately 38 minutes into the film, as rodents Bianca and Bernard fly through the city in a sardine can, the image of a topless woman appears in a window in the background in two non-consecutive frames. Cute. Was it irresponsible? Yes. Should the guy responsible be fired? Probably, assuming he didn't retire twenty years ago (it IS an old movie, y'know). I'm not too concerned about the Youth of America being traumatized by an image flashed on the screen for 1/25th of a second, though. I'm more concerned by the blatant breast exposure of Janet Jackson (which is to say, not at all). If I'm concerned at all, it's over the people who have nothing better to do with their time than scan otherwise innocuous kid's cartoons frame-by-frame on a large screen TV and STILL using a magnifying glass to find this shit.

As bad as it is, it doesn't compare to the practice of deliberately putting subliminal messages into ads. I saw one where the advertiser wanted you to subliminally think you saw a naked child!!! A college professor showed it to the class.

Unfortunately, now all the kids have to do is have a computer and the internet. I bet they have seen more than I have ever seen at their ages!!!
