Bush ties Nixon for highest disapproval rating
A new USA Today/Gallup poll shows George Bush with a disapproval rating of 66% - the same rating as Richard Nixon's one week prior to his resignation. His approval rating is now down to a dismal low of 29%, which ties Daddy's record low approval number back in the day. Only Truman (22%), Nixon (24%), and Carter (28%) fared worse. The president, as usual, offered up his "heels in the dirt" reaction:

I find it hard to believe Bush's approval ratings are as high as the press claims.
I think the figures are inflated.

Newsweek has the turd at 26%.
