Goodbye wires!!!

And just when you thought most everything was invtented, along comes even more fascinating technology!

A team from MIT's Department of Physics, Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and Institute for Soldier Nanotechnologies, (say THAT 5 times real fast) has experimentally demonstrated the ability to send electricity through the airwaves!!! It is dubbed "WiTricity" for wireless electricity.

I don't know when this will become available, but it is nice to think that one day not far down the road, you will never have to charge your cell phone, and be able to put light bulbs anywhere you want....without wires!!!
