Out of Iraq NOW

Robert has a great post from a soldier's perspective on the war in Iraq. Ladies and gentlemen, when even the loyal and duty-bound members of our armed forces are feeling such strong dissent, the question can only be "How soon can we re-deploy our boys and girls"?

Our brave children are being used as cannon fodder by a unitary executive who STILL believes that his control is absolute despite the lessons of the 2006 election. Bring our kids home now, impeach this would-be emperor and his lackies, and restore democracy to our great nation!

The other suggestion might be to round up all the neocons and war supporters and their children and ship them to Iraq. Then, we can tell them they can either fight to the death or learn diplomacy. Bring our troops home.

My only problem with that letter is that there is no signature. I know the writer claims he will be in trouble for writing, and I respect that.

However, without a face/name to put to the writing, I have to take it with the same grain of salt that I take the "Everything here is just wonderful and children are flinging flowers and chocolates at me" ones that I read on blogs from the far right.

Anonymous = suspicious to me anymore in these propaganda-laden times.

I think there is some truth to it, with things I have read on other blogs. With it comming off criegslist though I do take it with a BIG grain of salt.
