Between the gas prices (now another 20 cents lower this week) and the 9/11 propaganda on TV, I fear the Neocons will brainwash just enough "Good Americans" (Like my Dad) into voting for the Republicans again.

Ditto. I am terrified of another 2 years with zero checks or balances.
You are right to worry. You would be wrong to let that worry evolve into inaction however. Continue to speak about what is going on! Try to reach people who may fall for these tactics. We have the facts, not to mention several years of Bush failures, on our side. People ARE concerned and not as easily led astray now. We MUST keep talking or we very easily might fail. And if we fail now, with this asshat's record, with thousands of dead Americans and Iraqis, with failures to protect us from natural disasters, with losses of our most basic rights and freedoms. . .then we deserve to stay this course.
Didn't mean to turn into a rant, but I have strong feelings about this, and worry that people will stop this fight due to worry and fear. And that, my friends, is exactly what they are counting on. . .
