Taviano Update

On our Sunday drive today, I was pleasantly surprised to see the number of Taviano for Sheriff signs that sprung up here in Aboite this weekend. Not only in the usual intersection locations, but an astonishing number of them in front of private homes with such distinguished addresses as West Hamilton Road, Chestnut Hills Parkway, and Sycamore Hills to name just a few. There is a select stretch of homes, along Illinois Road just east of Sycamore Hills, that sport a sea of campaign signs for Republican candidates each election year. These residents all had Taviano signs en masse along that route today. Apparently Tina has a pretty good base out here in Aboite.
Sorry no pictures of said signs, I didn't have my camera along today. But they are basically the same text you see in her mission statement, in the above picture from her website, placed upon a bright green background. Short, to the point, and easy to read.

The Taviano campaign is supposed to send me some infomration on her campaign that I will post on my blog.

The sheriffs race is quite interesting. I think it is interesting since there are several qualified candidates seeking the position...

Yeah, they're (Dems) good at putting up signs, they just don't know how to get votes.

Nice signs, no follow-through.

A side note: From what *I* observed today, 90% of ALL campaign signs from the Aboite area are now most likely in Ohio. I hope you were all wearing your red shoes today. . =)
