Pervis Jackson has Died at 70

Pervis Jackson, the deep-voiced vocalist from The Spinners, lost his battle with brain and liver cancer on Monday. Doctors had discovered tumors less than a month ago, and the cancer diagnosis was made just two days before his death.

Jackson is survived by his wife, Claudreen Jackson, 69, and four adult children.
