Jimmy Carter's "Crisis of Confidence" Speech

If you want to hear the REAL "straight talk express", listen to President Carter addressing the energy crisis 29 years ago yesterday. This true statesman gave a frank assessment of our situation, and was rewarded by being tossed out of office by a public who was swayed by the promises of a smooth talking actor who painted a false sense that "everything's okay" and "it's morning in America again". We so deserve what we collectively achieve in this country. . .WAKE UP. . .
