Josh "W" Brolin?

Oliver Stone is set to to direct a film about the life and presidency of George W Bush, and he's selected Josh Brolin for the lead (Looks more like Jeb to ME). If financing for the film is agreed, it could begin shooting by April and be in cinemas in time for the US presidential election. In addition to volunteering as a sparring partner for heavyweights at the local gym, Brolin has began a strict regimen of heavy drinking and cocaine use in preparation for his upcoming role.

According to Stone:

"It's a behind-the-scenes approach, similar to 'Nixon', to give a sense of what it's like to be in his skin. But if 'Nixon' was a symphony, this is more like a chamber piece, and not as dark in tone. People have turned my political ideas into a cliché but that is superficial. I'm a dramatist who is interested in people, and I have empathy for Bush as a human being, much the same as I did for Castro, Nixon, Jim Morrison, Jim Garrison and Alexander the Great."

Sources tell us that "The Decider", while not entirely displeased with the casting, was holding out hope for an actor who often portrayed the same characters in film that Bush channels in his "leadership" style: Steve McQueen. Perhaps there's room for both actors - one as a younger Bush and one as a NutBush older Bush.
