FNR Bonus - One Hit Wonders

On the March 12, 1983 edition of American Top 40, Casey Kasem described how manager Kim Fowley discovered Steel Breeze while going through approximately 1200 demo tapes that were about to have been discarded by a local club.

GTR was a supergroup founded in 1986 by ex-Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett and Yes and Asia guitarist Steve Howe. They are noted for attempting to create a band with guitar and synthesizer sounds, but without the use of conventional keyboard synths, using guitar-based synthesizers instead.
