Starbucks is doing its part to stimulate civic participation. On November 4th the popular chain will give you a free cup of coffee if you've voted. Watch:

Too bad it's against the law,

The California Secretary of State's spokeswoman, Nicole Winger, confirmed Starbucks' offer of a free cup to customers, who vote, is well-intentioned, but violates election rules. She said deal would be legal if Starbucks offered a free cup to everyone, regardless of whether they voted.
