"Religulous" Smacks "An American Carol"

What do you do if you're a conservative who's tired of all the elite Hollywood liberals dominating the box office with their commie culturism? You meet them on their own turf, of course! Thus you make an attack film, and go after Michael Moore and the rest of the lefty moonbats. You publicize the crap out of the thing, and then. . .Bill Maher shows up with a film of his own and kicks your ass. Check this out:

Sure. American Carol leads slightly in gross, but look at the next two columns - this conservative dud should be grossing over ten mill in comparison to Maher's flick. Didn't these people learn anything at all from the failed attempt by Fox News to ape the succeess of Jon Stewart, Steven Colbert and Bill Maher last year? Conservatives are not funny. . .and humor flicks made by them are not either. . .

In all honesty, both of these films sound like something I would watch, but if I could only see one I would have to pick American Carol. Not because Bill Maher picks on Geezus (God has a sense of humor and so do I), but because Carol promotes itself as a comedy by David Zucker (a man whose reputation for hilarious movies is proven)while Religulous (like almost all Michael Moore films) promotes itself as a documentary when it clearly is not. True documentarians approach their subject matter with a neutral state of mind and do not slant their films by imposing personal agendas on them. This doesn't mean I don't enjoy such films; only that I don't consider them to be documentaries. Sopeaking of which, have you seen Moore's Slacker Uprising yet? If not, do so (it's free!)

I would likely watch both as well. But, judging from the preview, I'd be yelling alot at the Zucker entry.
