Oregon Republican won nomination in wrong district:

I just gotta know - if you don't even know what state district you live in, how do you expect to serve as the representative from that district? The Oregon GOP had dumped more than $30k into this race in an effort to unseat Democratic Rep. Chuck Riley. And the STATE PARTY didn't even catch this mistake either?? These guys make the local mouth-breathers around here look like pro's. . .

Jeff Duyck won the Republican primary for Oregon's District 29 in May, and the Secretary of State's office recently certified his victory. But on June 12, a Forest Grove woman sent the Secretary of State's office a letter questioning whether Duyck was actually eligible to run. The letter contended that even though a majority of Duyck's property lies within District 29, his house is in District 26.

State officials looked into the claim with Washington County officials and came to the same conclusion. On Monday, June 30, Duyck was reassigned to District 26, which includes Gaston and Wilsonville, by county officials.
