The disappearing car door

This has got to be one of the coolest automobile innovations that I have ever seen. It takes the basic premise of accessibility that was attempted by Lincoln's "suicide doors" to an entirely new level:

Pretty cool! I bet there are some disadvantages, such as bad weather. It may be better for the occupants to have a partial door opening and a quick open/close when it's freezing or raining.
