Kerry speaks out on Clinton smearing
John Kerry has done it. On Olbermann yesterday he said, "it is about time that those promoting this war offered up their own children to fight it, and anyone who themselves are 40 and under in the Congress and the Administration"...
This was in response to the letter Hillary Clinton received from Eric Edelman, former Cheney advisor, now in the Pentagon, and, according to Turkish newspapers, the absolute worst US Ambassador to Turkey in history. Edelman wrote that Clinton's letter asking what plans the Pentagon had for withdrawing US troops was, in effect, helping our enemies.
Democrats typically would slam the Administration for such accusations, thus succumbing to their invitation to join their argument. Indeed, that is what Hillary did in her response.
John Kerry did it better. He shoved it back down their throats so that they would choke on it. He also broke the taboo on calling for those voting and promoting the war volunteering themselves and having their own children go to Iraq:
If he'd shown more of this spine in 2004, we'd be calling him Mr.President right now. . .

There needs to be some plan for withdrawl, of course it shouldn't be published, but there should be a plan. Not that Bush and co. have ever been interested in plans. That might involve some reading and thinking. I'm sure it could be written and a "My pet goat" level for Bush to read.
John Kerry is intelligent, articulate and credible. george W. bush is less than nothing. Yet John Kerry allowed that worthless LIAR steal Ohio in 2004. This has to tell you the incredible reach the bush crime family has and how much power they wield throughout the world. Otherwise, how can a complete failure illegally plant his lame ass behind the desk in the oval office?
That was a great interview. Thanks for posting it John.
Wow...I missed Keith's broadcast that day. I'll have to add this to the post I did about Kerry the other day. I sure wish he had fought harder for Ohio. He won that state and I have no idea what John Kerry was thinking when he didn't fight for it. The people of Ohio deserved better than that, they lined up in droves and stood in the rain for hours...they should have had all the votes counted, they should have been given the right to make sure their vote was counted correctly.
What also angers me is what is Congress doing to get us a law for mandatory paper trails on our voting machines? They always wait until two months before the elections and then say they can't get it done in time, or it will be too costly. Now is when they should get that law through and get this done before the next election.
