Snow Day
Wow. I feel like I'm back in school today. 'Cause that's the last time I ever remember having a snow day. . .My supply chain is shut down, so I have no work today, my wife's employer is closed, and our daycare provider as well as the local schools are closed as well. Some pictures from our deck:

What a BEAUTIFUL yard you have!
Happy snow/chocolate day ;-).
Some of us are a little bit more hearty and slogged our way into work today.... :)
You do have a nice piece of property.
Hey John!!
Every day is a snow day for me!
Sorry I haven't been around, but I've actually been working, helping Cliff get his site & stuff up and running. Really cool stuff.
Did you check out the spotlight feature on his site? One of the most interesting things I've ever seen on a blog.
Go check it out!
Simply gorgeous. Stunning.
But really, really cold looking.
Seems like it's a great day to snuggle up with spouse & watch some corny flick on the tube.
We all got sent home early from work last nite - the boss was afraid we'd get snowed in if we stayed, and I think the thought of all of us piling into his son's SUV and going to his house for a jammies-party (Boss lives like 1/2 mile from work) was too much to contemplate...
Muaahahahahahahahaha
All in all, it wasn't that bad for a Feb. Blizzard (*Knocks on wood quickly*)
It looks like the whole field has been covered in whipped cream. There should be a cherry on the top. Stay warm and enjoy.
so nice to see -- and from what i've been reading -- clean off your roof...the weight of this white stuff is causing some to collapse...
i do love the snow -- from afar! enjoy and have a snow ball fight!!
Pam -Thank you! =)
John B. - I DID slog my way in, and found. . .nothing to do!
Paddy - He's no linked, and I signed up!
OB - Far too sane. *I* went out and ran the snowblower instead!
Sew - NO kidding, remember '78??
Mary - I'll hafta look around for a large red pillow I can toss out there. . .;)
AZ - Got a truss roof here, lotsa lumber up there! But you are RIGHT, there are problems with that. . .
What a beautiful scene from the deck!
Peace.
Nice pics! Since you live about 1/4 mile from me, my view wasn't too different than yours...except my view doesn't have a great back yard like yours.
I would love to have John's backyard . . . so long as I didn't have to mow around all those trees and rake the 16 tons of leaves that must cover the ground each and EVERY Autumn.
KyFried - The neighborhood kids have been all over the lake for weeks, so I guess so. Ya might wanna watch that MILFH acronym; might get misinterpreted! LOL
(All - That's "Mother In Law From Hell". . .not the other "MILF")
Robert - After the first year, I got smart and bought a lawn tractor with a leaf-sweeper attachment!
